Mission
The Levin Anglican Parish supports mission through a monthly payment to the Wellington Diocese. We also are sent a lot of flyers for various charities and fundraising initiatives which we display at the back of the church for individual parishioners to read and support if they choose.
We also run the Ezee Meals programme which was designed by Des Britten, Wellington City Missioner to meet the needs of those people who are looking for convenience meals, or have difficulty with shopping or in preparing meals.
The meals are frozen, tasty and are easily heated ready to eat. They are sold from St. Mary’s Church Hall kitchen every Wednesday and Friday morning from 10 am to 12 noon, by a group of voluntary helpers either in the kitchen or delivering to customers.
Every meal benefits community services programmes, and is also a good form of outreach to the community.
The group are always looking for extra helpers. Contact the Office on 06 368 5987.
You can order meals to be delivered in Levin by phoning 06 368 5987. Cost $2 per delivery, please phone your order in between 10.00am and 10.30am on Wednesday or Friday.
