The Hinemoa House Project in Levin is a Levin Inter-church Project working in the most deprived area of Levin, Hinemoa Street.

The project has bought two houses and improved them, which now serve as the base for the ministry among some of the most disadvantaged families in the community.

A gym has now been added that has proved to be very successful among the young men in the area. The gym teaches a non-violent approach to life and life’s problems and the rules include no swearing, smoking, alcohol or drugs. The teenage boys attending have been able to settle in their homes and school better and those that were not attending school have rejoined the school system.
