ACTIVE GROUPS SEPT 2009
1. Tuesday afternoon.
Fortnightly 1.30-3pm. Women’s Group.
2. Tuesday night.
1st and 3rd Tuesday evenings in the month in term time. 7-8.30pm.
3. Wednesday lunch time.
Every Wednesday in term time in the church hall lounge after the 10am service and refreshments 11am- 12pm for study.
4. Men’s Group on Friday morning.
We meet in the church lounge 9-11am
5. Men’s breakfast on Saturday morning.
In the lounge at 8-10am, 1st Saturday in month.
6. Discipleship Group. (Alpha)
This group is for new people to church or faith who want to grow quickly in their understanding of the basics in their faith. Also for baptism and confirmation preparation.
7. Women’s Fellowship.*
We meet more formally on the 2nd Tuesday 7.30pm in the lounge with fellowship time over supper.
8. MU (Mothers Union).*
1st Thursday in the month at 1.45pm in the lounge. More formal with fellowship over afternoon tea.
9. Prayer Group.*
2nd Thursday in the month in the church lounge at 7.30-8.30pm. This is open to all who want to pray together for the life of the church and community.
