Young Families
Rev Jane Heyes oversees our Children, Youth and Families Ministry and works with our Offspring and Mainly Music Manager, Youth Padstor and Sunday Kidzone Team.
We have a full children's, youth and families ministry on Sundays and mid week.
SUNDAYS
9.45- 11.45am Kidzone for Primary and intermediate age. Held in the church hall. Parents are invited to bring their children, help settle them into the children's programme and then take part in the 10.00am service in church, which starts with refreshemtns at the back of church so that people can welcome and get to know each other.
10.00-11am Youth Church for College age youth. Held in the upper youth lounge in the church hall complex.
MID-WEEK
Tuesdays 10-11am in term time. Mainly Music in the hall, followed by Offspring 11-12am. These programmes are aimed at parents or gardians with children and provide stimulation play for the children through music and lots of toys and activities, where adults are encouraged to interact with their children. Also most importantly these programmes provide support and encouragement for the adults who are the main lovoing care givers for their children and often need support, encouragement and stimulation themselves as they commit themsleves selflessly to family life.
Thursday 10-12am Offspring in the hall.
Cubs, Pippins, Scouts and Guides. These all meet at various times throughout the week early evening in the hall. Please contact the office for further details. 06 368 5987
