    Tuesdays and Thursdays 9-11.30am.

St. Mary’s Anglican Church Teach and care through creative play group.

Offspring is a new group in our parish set up with the aim of providing a quality early childhood education program for the children as well as support and social time for their parents and caregivers.

It is a time for parents and children to learn together and is not designed as a Creche – in fact far from it!
We have a huge number of quality toys, paint, dough, water, sand and family play and more…. All beautifully set out in the church hall ready for action.

AND MORE… We are gearing up to help you develop further skills in any area of parenting or homemaking or helping your child read or whatever you need !

You will find us in St. Mary’s Church Hall.

You can come along to Church and know that your small fry are having a ball and learning about Christian values and other stuff based on the Bible.
We sing, do energetic and creative activities, eat, play games and make friends.
Every term we have a social event of some sort which involves bringing friends, burning off heaps of energy and having a mini feast.

    Parenting Courses
We join with the other churches in Levin to run a Parenting course annually.
We also run parenting skills courses at Offspring during the year for young families and preschooler parents and caregivers, the Toolbox Parenting course ( Parents Inc)  is run in terms 2 and 3 each year.

    Baptism
We welcome all those with a growing faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour to be baptised (if they have not been baptised before).

We practice adult baptism for new converts and also infant baptism of the children of at least one Christian parent/guardian committed to the faith.  We expect parents to keep the promise in the baptism service to actively bring their child to church regularly to help them grow in their faith. We provide excellent children’s ministry at church to support the teaching of the faith we hope is going on at home through the modeling of the family.

Please contact the Vicar to talk about your desire for baptism and together we can create a short course to make sure you understand and are adequately prepared for the commitment that baptism symbolises.

We also like to follow up all our baptism families with anniversary cards to remind them of the celebration they have experienced and to make sure we as the church family stay in touch.
